Sereni Snag? Thursday, 27th Jun 2002 08:30 The deal to take Town keeper Matteo Sereni to Brescia on loan may have hit a snag with current number one Luca Castellazzi less than keen with his club's plans for him. Castellazzi had been lined-up with a move to Sunderland, a switch which was pivotal in Sereni moving to the Stadio Mario Rigamonti. Castelazzi said: "I have read that they want Sereni and that they are trying to sell to me. I must deduce that the club's plans do not include to me. I am very dissatisfied, Brescia were my first choice. "I have a contract with Brescia that expires in the June 2006. I hoped not to have to move before that date, but evidently that will not be the case." The keeper would prefer to stay in Serie A and hopes he has impressed other clubs with his performances: "I hope I have earned the esteem of some other clubs. I hope that how I did last season allows to find a place, if not at Brescia, elsewhere." Castellazzi is less than pleased with Brescia, particularly as he has heard nothing from them officially: "I am displeased to have been only indirectly informed of the facts, I would have preferred to have had the news from the source."
