Young U23s Team Facing Villa Thursday, 22nd Feb 2018 18:57 Town have named a young U23s side for this evening’s Premier League Cup fixture against Aston Villa at Hednesford Town’s Keys Park (KO 7pm). The game was originally scheduled to be played last week but was postponed due to snow. No senior players are involved with a number of regular development squad members, including January signing Barry Cotter (pictured) and on-trial midfielder Mohammed Sagaf, joined by academy scholars. Stratford striker Ben Stephens, 20, who has been on trial with the Blues, was expected to play but is not in the squad. U23s: Ware, El Mizouni, Clements, Blanchfield, Cotter, Goteni, McLoughlin (c), Sagaf, Lankester, Folami, D Crowe. Subs: Marshall, Egan, McGavin, Dobra, Foudil.
