Tuesday, 20th Feb 2018 10:52

Boss Mick McCarthy’s pre-match press conference ahead of Wednesday’s home game against Cardiff City will be shown live on TWTV at 1pm this afternoon.

In a new move this season Town are allowing McCarthy’s meetings with the media to be broadcast live online.

Visit TWTD to watch and discuss the Blues’ manager’s thoughts as 12th-placed Town take on the Bluebirds, who are second in the Championship table.

Keeper Bartosz Bialkowski, who is imminently set to sign his recently agreed a new contract with the Blues, will also be speaking to the media and you can read what the Pole has to say on TWTD later today.

Pointless..... good team Cardiff, great players, should go up, you know what you get from a Neil Warnock team. Great bloke Neil, proper.
No mention of Sunday's antics and won't be pushed by the journos.

As I said pointless; just release a press statement with Town's current injury
list. That should do it.
Complete and utter apathy; sorry.

Any chance of some decent questions about the foul mothed one's management ability and attitude or will it be the usual spineless sycophantic love in?

Phil, ask him outright if he's going or not. You've got nothing to lose!
Offer him outside if he gets upset.

Phil give him the bird and tell him to F Off, then say it wasn't directed at him.. that seems to be OK at Ipswich.

It is true, he gets an easy ride. He MUST be pressed on his behaviour and language. No other manager in the country would get away with it. Yes hes had a tough time, blah blah blah. Lots of people have a tough time at work and dont get the rewards he gets. Telling the fans to F off like that is too far.

Agree that - He and or the club should be challenged on this - I am not bothered by the use of language - but it defines his whole approach and attitude to the fan base. Personal abuse at him is never warranted , but he is the manager and knows better and is is the position that his reaction is totally inappropriate no matter what the provocation and lets face it it was terrace chanting (the rights and wrongs on this is a differing subject)and no more in this instance. The club is spineless or has shown itself to be so far in regards this issue.

Agree with the above

If he was managing a premier league team, can you imagine the level of press attention his Sunday swear would have gotten? Enough to force him out, I'd say.

If we get beat this week (highly possible) I suggest we chant at him again and see what he does. Wind him up a bit more!

Be interested to see how many turn up on Wednesday as he clearly told the fans to F*ck Off so maybe a lot might do that. He doesn't like it when the fans are right about poor management. He fell out with Sunderland fans as well and I'm sure Roy Keane told him to do the same hence why he was sent home in the world cup.

Sorry but it does seem like the same dull questions with a horizontal yo-yo of a microphone. Can't see the point in slagging off MM, think it's run it's course. Although would have thought he should know not to overdo celebrations at 1 nil ‘Embarrassing' We can still beat all teams in this league when switched on from minute 1 till final whistle.
