U18s Draw Everton Away in FA Youth Cup

Town’s U18s have drawn Everton away in the third round of the FA Youth Cup.

The tie is likely to be played at Goodison Park - the Toffeemen staged last year’s third round tie there - with the match played on a date yet to be set before Saturday 16th December.

Last season the Blues exited the Youth Cup in the third round - the stage they enter the competition - after losing 4-2 at Nottingham Forest after extra time.

Town have carried off the trophy on three occasions, in 1973, 1975 and 2005.

Hope that ITFC will put out their strongest team,ie all the best under 18 age players we have;regardless of whether they have played at a higher level.

Be nice to take this comp seriously this season with the apparent young talented youngsters. It'll hopefully set a precedence for the future of the club and what they can achieve.
