Ipswich Town Ladies Out for Derby Double

Ipswich Town Ladies host Norwich City Ladies on Wednesday evening at the Goldstar Ground, Felixstowe looking to record a double over their greatest rivals (KO 7.45pm).

The Tractor Girls have made a very positive start to the campaign and are third in the in the FA Women's Premier League South East with 13 points from their opening seven games.

Norwich sit second from bottom with just one win and five defeats, including a 5-0 thrashing by Town in last month’s Norfolk-based derby. Admission is £2 with all under-16s admitted free.

Cant remember the last time the men managed a double over the Canaries.

Don't think Town have even beaten Norwich since 2009,although our Norfolk neighbours have had a couple of short stints in the Prem.

Anyway good luck girls,hope the boys will be able to emulate you on the 22nd of this month.

Great Game in horrible conditions some great well worked goals in the 8-1 thrashing! Is it a an omen for things to come!
