Smith and Downes in Strong U23s Side Facing Bristol City
Monday, 9th Oct 2017 14:05

Town have confirmed that Tommy Smith, Flynn Downes, Callum Connolly, Myles Kenlock and Danny Rowe will all be in the U23s side facing bottom-of-the-table Bristol City at Portman Road this evening (KO 7pm).

Smith is continuing his recovery after his hamstring injury having played for the U23s in last week’s 3-0 behind-closed-doors defeat at Charlton.

Downes will be playing his first U23s match having been sidelined with a thigh injury prior to the international break.

Admission to the Cobbold Stand only is free for season ticket holders and members with prices otherwise £3 for adults and £1 concessions.

Be interesting to see how these lads perform, promising players I think . Hopefully Smith wont suffer any further setbacks. COYB

Hopefully Huws and Bishop will be back training soon.Would be great to
have a full squad to choose from, then we might actually compete with
the top teams.

Not remotely like Tommy Smith that ;) He frustrates the living hell into me as a CB. Good for 89 minutes however the occasional inexplicable issue!
