I know pre-season is meaningless other than to gain fitness, but this really does look like good preparation..........for League 1 football !

It's all about the money folks and don't we know it.
Thes fixtures are pay days for the opposition - that's a plus I suppose - but the bottom line is that it costs Evans/Milne b***er all to send us to Col U and the rest.
Play at Portman Rd and he's got all the cost.
The last thing he'd do is host a celebration of football pre-season at Portman Rd with these clubs playing here, or against clubs we've developed a good relationship with over the years or, heaven forbid, a showcase fixture in the sunshine against a Premier or European side.
