Major Rail Disruption
Tuesday, 13th Dec 2016 09:43

Fans planning to travel by train via London to this evening’s game at Birmingham should note that there is major disruption on the line between Ipswich and Colchester this morning.

A freight train has broken down and is in the process of being moved with a limited replacement bus service in operation.

Disruption is expected until 2pm with Greater Anglia currently advising the public not to travel. Further information and updates via Greater Anglia’s website or Twitter.

Interesting choice of image to go with a story about travel disruption... or to put it another way, loads of people going nowhere... and the main thing you can see is 'Marcus Evans'...

I live in Colchester.
£156 return to Birmingham and you can't get back tonight.
Drive to Stratford and train from Euston to Birmingham is around £39
