Town Unchanged Against Rotherham
Saturday, 19th Mar 2016 14:29

Town boss Mick McCarthy has named an unchanged side for this afternoon's home game against Rotherham United with new loan signing Liam Feeney amongst the subs.

Also on the bench are ex-Miller Ben Pringle and Ainsley Maitland-Niles, who comes in for the injured Luke Varney, while Michael Crowe takes the ill Dean Gerken’s place as the sub keeper.

Rotherham include former Town loanee Paul Green on their bench, while Paddy Kenny, who was on a short-term deal with the Blues last season without making an appearance, is the Millers’ sub keeper.

Town: Bialkowski, Knudsen, Chambers (c), Smith, Berra, Skuse, Murphy, Pitman, Hyam, Sears, Douglas. Subs: Crowe, Maitland-Niles, Feeney, Pringle, Bru, Digby, Foley.

Rotherham: Camp, Mattock, Broadfoot (c), Frecklington, Kelly, Halford, G Ward, Derbyshire, Smallwood, Doyley, Best. Subs: Kenny, Wood, D Ward, Green, Burke, Clarke-Harris, Newell. Referee: Stephen Martin (Staffordshire).

Bench looks stronger. Disappointed with midfield selection.

We were song whether it should be Skuse or Hyam ... Mick gives us both PLUS Douglas.

But we got 3 points from them midweek. ...and I guess at least the substitutions will all add positivity.... won't they?

Just leave now Mick. Do the club a favour. 5 midfielders at his disposal that could offer another dimension and he starts with the dross which is SKUSE, yes Skuse = dross I'm afraid and Douglas who is League 2 at best. What an utter shower.
