Town Announce Norwich Ticketing
Tuesday, 27th Jan 2015 17:00

Town have been given an allocation of 2,000 tickets for the derby at Norwich on Sunday 1st March (KO 2.05pm).

The seats, fewer than the Blues have generally been handed for games at Carrow Road in recent years, will be initially be allocated via an “invitational priority period” for club members who have followed the Blues away from home on a regular basis this season.

“This is a priority system which has worked successfully over previous seasons and is seen as a loyalty reward for those members that regularly attend away fixtures,” Town’s director of retail operations Lee Hyde told to the club website.

“Letters will be sent to all qualifying members with full details on how and when they can purchase their ticket for this fixture.”

After that tickets will be made available via the usual priority system, one per individual customer number (from 9am on each date):

Gold membership holders: Wednesday 11th February
Season ticket holders: Friday 13th February
Silver membership holders: Tuesday 17th February
General sale: Thursday 19th February

Norwich have set the prices for the game, which will be live on Sky, at £40 for adults, £30 for senior citizens (65+), £25 for under-17s and £17 for under-12s. Full details on the club site.

Quite agree tickets should be reserved to loyal supporters like me that go every week and not be available to so called fans who crawl out the woodwork when Town are doing well. Enjoy the game on the TV, i'll be there....

Any reason given for the reduced allocation?

Interesting pricing seeing as Norwich usually charge their own booing fans nearer half that for tickets. But as the economy in that part of the world is so poor they would have to I guess.

Perhaps they are charging £40 for the extra 30 minutes they keep us in after the game then send you 4 times the distance to travel back to your transport .
A complete joke!!!!

Ha, ha. Interesting pieces of info., riley 26. The Budgies are usually very chirpy about how much better they think their support is. Good to know they left the cage early. Think I might adopt Brentford as my second team for while. -:)

I hereby invite anyone to my house to watch it on Sky for the bargain price of £35...

I refuse to put any money into the coffers of that thieving bunch of Europhobic no-marks.

Incidentally I was playing Trivial Pursuit against a Narwich fan recently. I won because they simply refused to answer any history questions.

They charges 50 quid for big games in premier

We should refuse to pay - don't buy the tickets, watch on tv and give 20 quid to bobby robson charity

Cutting the allocation shows they are really bitter , twisted and scared of "Top of the league at Carrot Roooad "

£40 for any championship game is a total rip off, but I am sure we ripped them off earlier in the season so once again its the supporters that get shafted.I agree with TractorRoyNo1... don't buy the ticket and give the money to The Sir Bobby Robson Foundation

Yes it would be lovely if all football matches were £15 a go. However, if someone came up to me right now and said, here's a Norwich ticket - yours for £40 - I would rip their arm off!!! If town get a win £40 would be a complete bargain!!

It appears to be tit for tat.I do remember us charging Leeds £40 a few seasons back who then got their own back by charging us £37 if i recall correctly. What did we charge Norwich?

No issue on the priority piece or the pricing (as we do the same). I do have an issue with riley26 who claims to have "inadvertently ended up in the Carrow Road dump on Saturday". You do not "inadvertently" end up there, you clearly where there of your own free will, swilling around with that vile filth. I hope you have been through the sheep dip, and are posting this remark from your quarantine facility. Ebola is nothing compared to an epidemic of yellow/green vomit shirts and inapropriate family based shenannigans, so containment is a must people!
Still must've been quite pleaseing to see them leaving the place 6 fingered hand in 6 fingered hand with sad faces and no points!

Hmmm. Norwich AND Peterborough Building Society. Put the two together, they might make a decent team.

Reduced number of tickets is probably due to Naridge having to spread their seats further apart to give the home supporters more room for their webbed feet!

Wish I had not paid on turnstiles for away games now... Oh well! If I don't get one, I will pay twice the cover value to anyone wishing to sell...actually would prob take 3 if my dad and mate don't qualify, but think they will as done 6-7 away, I've only done 5...we will have to see!! Not missed one for 15 years, and don't plan to start watching it on the box this Feb! agggrrrhh the anticipation!! COYB's ... if we turn that lot over, my year will be complete! Mind the Gap!!

Haha, Paulc!

Allow me to explain in brief (And defend my honour)...three house mates and footballing neutrals were going to the game, I had no interest in going or putting any money towards the club, I could get a return train ticket from Norwich as well as a match day seat in the SIr Bobby Robson for that price!

However, one of the lads had to pull out due to an emergency so I went along, and it turned out to be the best case scenario result-wise...no ill effects so far, still just the five digits on each hand.

That's good to know riley26 because I have a DILEMMA coming up... For some bizarre reason my childhood best friend down the road became a nodge fan (we both grew up 10 miles from PR). Now, we're back in touch after years and his life has been hit by even worse tragedy (yes, it's possible) and he wants me to go and sit with him for the derby. I'm already way out of my comfort zone just considering it and not sure if the heart can take trying not to celebrate 7or 8 times. However I promise to take photos for you all as the goals fly in. Promotion teams usually put in a big scoreline at some point so COYB. 💙💙💙 🔰
