Three Changes But Bart Starts
Saturday, 22nd Nov 2014 14:08

Town boss Mick McCarthy has made three changes to his team ahead of this afternoon’s game away against second-placed AFC Bournemouth. Bartosz Bialkowski continues in goal with Paul Anderson, Cole Skuse and Luke Hyam coming into the side for Jay Tabb, who drops to the bench, and the injured Jonny Williams and Stephen Hunt.

Anderson is set to take up the front three role alongside David McGoldrick and Daryl Murphy for Hunt, who has remained behind in Suffolk due to a hamstring niggle. Skuse, Hyam and Kevin Bru make up the midfield with Teddy Bishop on the bench.

Bournemouth: Boruc, Daniels, Cook, Elphick, Francis, Pugh, Surman, Arter, Ritchie, Kermorgant, Wilson. Subs: Camp, Smith, Stanislas, Gosling, Fraser, Rantie, Pitman.

Town: Bialkowski, Chambers (c), Mings, Berra, Smith, Skuse, Hyam, Bru, Anderson, McGoldrick, Murphy. Subs: Gerken, Parr, Tabb, Bishop, Henshall, Bajner, Sammon.

Just watching Bart warm up in front of us. Hunt must have niggled his hamstring running for that plane at Stansted two weeks ago after picking up the MoM award vs Watford from legend Johnny Wark.

Good line up, glad about Bart my prediction a 2-2 draw would take that.

Would have started Bishop instead of Skuse, otherwise a good, balanced selection.

Skuse straight back in. Tabb just played his best two games for us - must feel awful. Lets hope it works - just don't think Skuse/Hyam together works. And why leave Bishop on the bench - different class.

Pleased MM has gone with Bart. Anderson for me will have to show some improvement as he appears very lightweight and contributes little. I'm sure they'll all be up for this one. COYB
