Hermann and George on Life's a Pitch

Former Town centre-half Hermann Hreidarsson and his one-time boss George Burley are the guests on BBC Radio Suffolk’s Life’s a Pitch, which is live over Saturday lunchtime (midday to 2pm). Mark Murphy is joined by the show’s other regulars, legend-in-residence Kevin Beattie, football’s youngest pundit Tractorboy, while TWTD’s Phil Ham will be taking a well-deserved day off.

Hreidarsson is likely to be in a chipper mood with Iceland having drawn 0-0 with Croatia in the first leg of their World Cup play-off in Reykjavik last night, despite having been reduced to 10 men.

As well as managing Town, Burley has also been boss of Hearts and Scotland with current Blues centre-half Christophe Berra playing for him during both those spells. Berra could win his first Scotland cap since his move to Portman Road in Norway on Tuesday.
