JET Missing Due to Illness
Monday, 24th Jun 2013 16:14

Transfer-listed midfielder Jay Emmanuel-Thomas was missing from this morning’s first day of pre-season press call as he had gone home feeling unwell. The former Arsenal man is expected to return to Playford Road later in the week.

The 22-year-old, who along with Michael Chopra was told he could find a new club at the end of last season, was a notable absentee from this morning’s session, along with skipper Carlos Edwards, who is with the Trinidad and Tobago squad ahead of the CONCACAF Gold Cup in the USA.

...... obvious by the minus's to adverse comments about JET - that some ITFC supporters will accept anything - as I have posted elsewhere.

WAKE UP YOU PEOPLE - and start expecting what you have every right as a 'paying customer' to expect.

........ just get him away away from this Club, along with the other bad influence.

A certain two players, knowing they were being made available for Transfer - had every opportunity to buckle down during the close season and come back determined to prove themselves.
Will it happen ? - doesn't look like it - for this one anyway - and it's anyone's guess with the other!

Don't worry as kids wewere all "ill" on the days we didn't like. Obviously u don't like training at Ipswich town so y don't u go and find a club that pays u loads ofmoney to sit on yours bottom and be "ill"!!

Oh not this paying customer BS. If you pay to see a film do you then get to dictate the staffing arrangements too? Let MM handle his players the way he wants to handle them.

It's one freaking day into pre-season already and already those few JET hecklers you heard a few rows back are out in force. People moan about JET being a constant presence on Twitter (really - who cares?), well what about constantly writing about him on these message boards?

And please, PLEASE don't compare JET to Chopra. I can't believe that was actually insinuated. At least JET has shown that he cared for ITFC (e.g. JET keek with Junior Blues) and generated some positive stories.

Probably the real reason MM put him on the transfer list, he knows there is no 'getting the best' out of him or the other guy that got put on the Tfr list, so he has told them they are free to find another club. Want an interesting conversation the fly would have witnessed!

Get well soon Mr. Thomas.

JET is frustrating. On his day he is arguably our most naturally talented attacking player, one who can change the game. If he is messing about then he will waste his ability, which would be such a shame. Personally, I hope that he gets his attitude right and continues to play for Ipswich.
