Sixto Peralta wants to stay at Town once his one year loan at Portman Road is up. The last couple of days have see the Argentinian pledge his future to the Blues in a number of places and George Burley has said there may be a chance of this happening.

The Argentinian has done well since making his debut in the Worthington Cup against Crewe and is happy in Ipswich. He says he feels at home here as he is from a small town in Argentina. Peralta said: "I really want to stay at Ipswich Town next year. I want to play well and help Ipswich Town win more points and move up the table. We are in a bad position but we can get better and get out of trouble. I know that I will be staying this year but I want a new contract for next season with Ipswich."

George Burley said earlier this week that it was "early days" when it came to Peralta's situation, but that there was a chance of the deal becoming permanent.
