Scotland Misses Reading Trip
Scotland Misses Reading Trip
Saturday, 31st Dec 2011 08:35

Striker Jason Scotland will miss this afternoon’s game at Reading due to the hamstring injury he suffered at Leicester on Monday. The Trinidadian’s fitness was due to be assessed on Friday afternoon before the squad left for Berkshire.

Boss Paul Jewell will have to decide whether to partner Michael Chopra with Jay Emmanuel-Thomas, who has impressed him in training of late, or Nathan Ellington.

We understand Scotland has not yet been ruled out of Monday's home game with Nottingham Forest.

Skipper Grant Leadbitter looks likely to return to Jewell’s side in place of the injured Keith Andrews with the Blues probably otherwise unchanged.

defo blue lady spot on thats what i would do, and also defo would play bullard instead of leadboots, as carson or martin would never get the ball with him on the pitch as it will end up at barretts feets just to be hoofed up the pitch
