Reserves Now Behind Closed Doors
Reserves Now Behind Closed Doors
Monday, 21st Nov 2011 12:52

Town reserves friendly against West Ham at Playford Road on Tuesday will now be played behind closed doors. The Blues had initially said that fans would be able to watch the match.

The decision to play the game without spectators present may make Icelandic trialist Teddy Bjarnason's involvement more likely.

That's a shame the last couple of games have been more entertaining than the first team games with the younger players showing promise

I was looking forward to Playford Rd. as we had not seen a game for ages,
Now it has to be Plan B, which Jewillio does not seem to have.So we have got to wait for Sat. now !!!!!!

Think the change of heart re fans was due to trialists on either or both sides. Makes it easier from an administrative perspective if it's not a public game I think in terms of getting clearance for trialists.

After watching over 1300 home games,I suppose they could play the next 2 Saturday's behind closed doors
I still seem to be magnetised even with the dross of the last 5 years.

........ I think there would be less people concerned if they decided to play Reading behind closed doors - excluding 'the easily satisfied brigade' of course, who are happy to watch anything, and know no better.

Are there actually any doors at Playford Road?

Eatonblue If they do not fit into Paul Jewells way of playing ie Diamond formation they would be shown the Door pretty quick.Whats the betting most, or all of the first team will be playing .Forget the reserves, the reserves hardly get a look in now. Bring back the reserve games that we used to be able to play in at least it gave them some incentive to improve, instead of stagnation. COYB

Clegg's fault. Sack Jewell. Keane out. Etc. It's cold this morning, boo! Clegg out. Sack the manager. Presumably the usual posters cut and paste their response to every story? One thing to rely on in life is the predictability of TWTD news comments!!!
