Priskin Strikes as Swans Crush Canaries
Priskin Strikes as Swans Crush Canaries

On-loan Town striker Tamás Priskin netted the first goal of his loan spell at Swansea as the Welshmen beat Norwich City 3-0 at the Liberty Stadium.

The Hungarian came on as a sub in the 58th minute — his second appearance for the Swans, both from the bench — and completed the scoring in injury time.

Elsewhere, Tommy Smith made his second appearance for Colchester as they beat Rochdale 1-0 at the Weston Homes Community Stadium.

Bermudian winger Reggie Lambe made his first start for Bristol Rovers as his side lost 2-0 to an Exeter side which included former Blue Marcus Stewart playing the final game of his career. Lambe was subbed after 52 minutes, Stewart entering the fray 14 minutes later and creating the first of Daniel Nardiello’s two goals.

Striker Ronan Murray was an unused sub as Torquay won 3-0 at Bradford, while keeper Ian McLoughlin, who was told he will be released at the end of the season earlier this week, also spent the afternoon on the bench as Stockport drew 2-2 with Stevenage at Edgeley Park.

Meanwhile, former Town first team coach Tony Loughlan is reported to have moved with his family to Valencia. Inevitably, this has led to speculation that Loughlan's long-term friend Roy Keane might be set to take a job in Spain.

Earlier in the week, Keane was strongly linked with the vacant manager's job at Australian side the Melbourne Victory.

Surco I think the reason that people get excited over this story is because the guy is such a better option than Scotland and actually runs, Scotland would never in a million years have scored that goal. But I agree he probably should go.

Suffolk and good - Arsenal?

cracking game to watch and Swansea showed some fantastic football something we need to learn from! Tamas did well, held the ball up and was constantly running and looking for the ball.

Keep it going Tamas hope to see you back here soon!

Is there a recall clause so he can play against the scum on the 21st?

Budgies have a hard run-in, when we put another dent in their promotion hope they (with a bit of luck) will slide into the play-offs and then Reading will do a number on them..lets hope thats how the script goes..
