Children’s Parties Prices Frozen
Children’s Parties Prices Frozen
Thursday, 6th Jan 2011 09:03

Prices for children's birthday parties have been frozen, despite the rise in VAT. Children can celebrate their birthdays with an action-packed two-hour party at Portman Road, organised by the ITFC Charitable Trust.

The celebrating youngsters get to take part in a football session on the practice pitch, a behind the scenes tour of the ground and a birthday tea, while each child will receive a party bag and full-colour football invitations. The birthday child will be given a special gift and signed birthday card.

Town Birthday Parties are suitable for children between the ages of 5 — 13 and are offered every non-match day Saturday (11am — 1pm, 1.30pm — 3.30pm and 4pm — 6pm) and Wednesdays (4.15pm — 6.15pm).

Prices will be frozen until March 31st despite the VAT rise with the cost per child £12, with a minimum number of 10 guests per party. A personalised Town birthday cake can also be purchased at an additional cost of £10.

To make a booking or for further information contact ITFC Charitable Trust on 0845 1369333, email communityweb@itfc.co.uk or visit itfccharitabletrust.org.uk.

The ITFC Charitable Trust, which until recently was known as the Community Trust, is on Facebook here. The page gives all the latest news and information about the Trust’s courses and projects.

Hardly news, and not exactly new as birthday parties at PR have been available for years.

Maybe the kids won't show up as there is absolutely no entertainment to be had at Portman Road these days !!!

Whilst its not part of the same business as ITFC Ltd, I wonder if the Marcus Evans empire would take on children's party organising - very impressive corporate website ME has, most of it is bullsh*t and under company profile detailing its portfolio, it says 'the company also owns a leading football club'. Leading what or who I wonder? Perhaps down the garden path to a top spot in League 1

The whole family feel at PR seems to be dying a death... What happened to Bluey and the other black horse they had ramping around for the youngsters... and the cheerleaders before hand.
All we get for our money now is dull dross! and as for the next generation of supporters.. Mmmmmmmmmmmmm!!! No appeal whatsoever!

Despite the derogatory comments, parties at ITFC rank very highly among my experiences as a youngster. They really are blooming good, profesionally run and fun thing to do, building a fan base for the future. I'd highly recommend them.

I do wonder if some of you can read, or if you're just miserable for your own pleasure. The title of the article says it all, i.e. the increase in vat wont be passed on as an increase in kids parties at ITFC. The charity will absorb the extra cost. Surely, even the most miserable will appreciate thats good news for parents who have kids that want a party at Portman Road. Whatever happens re: the football side, give the charity/ club some credit for once and dont twist a positive into a negative!
