U18s Lose at Wolves

Town's U18s started their season with a disappointing 5-0 defeat at Wolves over Saturday lunchtime. Coach Mike Pejic (pictured) fielded a very weak side, with a number of regulars missing through injury.

Wolves dominated the game throughout, although Jidé Maduako did see his header hit the bar in the second half.

Both sides were reduced to ten men late on as tempers boiled over with the home side’s captain dismissed and Sam Brandon seeing red for Town.

U18s: Trialist, McKeown, Whight, Jones, Maduako, Schrøder, Simmons, Scotcher, Lavery, Brandon and Winter. Subs: Acott, Lawrence and Kamanda.

Shame it wasn't 6 - as Mike is looking rather like an aged Number 6 from the Prisoner - the original series not that new crappy effort of recent times... I am not a number, I am a free man! Marvellous.

I'm not sure the comment from the writer about being a very weak side will do much for the boys who played confidence, we've got to support them!

Only fair weather support is no support at all. Win or loose, the youngsters need our consistant encouragement
