It is super news and I thought Wickham did well when he came on today. We need to be careful not to place too much expectation on him and I still think we need to sign two quality strikers in the summer (assuming D.Murphy won't sign and as D.Healy clearly isn't working). Let's use Wickham sensibly, coach him well and help him develop into a top player.

jas0999 - It is sensible to retain as a good a relationship with one's manager as possible, so Wickham mentioning Keane is to be expected. I don't think it is a "kick in the teeth" for anyone. Nearly all of us want Keane to do well and to take us to the Premier League, there are just differing views as to whether he is the right man for the job.

Depends how good at counting you are! Being equally pedantic, Premier League clubs have been watching Wickham since he was a schoolboy in the U16s and more than 20 clubs have been in the Premier League since then.

Office working Back in Beige says there was never any doubt that he would sign his mortage contract with Lloyds TSB. Despite interest from innumerable mortgage lenders, the 24-year-old put pen to paper on a thirty-year deal earlier today.




In Beige told the club site: "I'm delighted to have signed even though I had a slight doubt that Lloyds is the right bank for me given how badly they've performed recently and how slimey their mortgage 'advisor' was.

"The bank has a great record for bringing providing mortgages (not counting the last few years) and giving the borrowers a chance to skint themselves, and I'm proudish to be Lloyds customer.

"I know there has been talk of other banks watching me but I've not thought about that. I left the contract stuff with my girlfriend and just got on with whoring myself out to the man in my office job.

"The manager has been slimey and I'm grateful to him for allowing me to say no to every unnecessary product he tried to sell me, and I feel I have developed and matured my bank account by being in debt around a quarter of a million pounds."

That should say "office worker" in the second paragraph, I am not an 'office working' as that is an adjective and I am not a describing word; I AM A MAN
