Balkestein Considering Future Sunday, 28th Mar 2010 19:42 Defender Pim Balkestein says he will consider whether to join Brentford permanently during his loan spell which runs until the end of the season. The Dutchman rejoined the Bees on Thursday with the clubs having agreed a fee if the 22-year-old wants to move to Griffin Park full-time in the summer. Balkestein said: "We will see what happens. It is better to have a look after a month. Brentford is a big consideration, I like it here. "I'm playing well, for a long time I didn't play at Ipswich, the best thing is to play first team football. "I know Brentford, it went well here last time, I know the boys and it was good to come back." The former Heerenveen man made his second debut for Brentford in their home victory over Leyton Orient on Saturday. Elsewhere, Ed Upson made his league debut for loan club Barnet on Saturday as the other Bees drew 1-1 at home to Burton Albion. The Town youngster, whose contract is up in the summer, came on for the final 11 minutes.
