Striker Connor Wickham has been included in the England U17 squad for the FA International Tournament later this month. The 16-year-old already has four caps at U17 level.

The England youngsters face Italy on at Burton Albion August 26th, Turkey two days later at Northampton and finally Portugal at Notts County on August 30th.

Town are yet to confirm whether Wickham will be given permission to play in the matches which would see him miss the Preston fixture on August 29th.

LETS NOT RUSH HIM! HE'S THE BEST THING TOWN HAVE GOT!

Africa 2010 or even Poland/Ukrine 2012 is ridiculous at the moment, even Jack Wilshire's going to struggle to make the world cup squad next summer and he's at least on Fabio's radar.
