Winger-turned-full-back Jaime Peters is back with the Town squad after Canada exited the CONCACAF Gold Cup at the quarter-final stage last Friday. The 22-year-old has been pencilled in to take part in this evening's friendly at Clacton (KO 7.45pm).

Peters picked up his 19th full cap as Canada controversially lost 1-0 to Honduras in their quarter-final having progressed from the group stage.

Striker Pablo Couñago and left-back Ben Thatcher will not now be in action until next week due to the groin injury the Spaniard sustained earlier in pre-season and the knee ligament problem from which the former Wales international is still recovering.

Frontman Kevin Lisbie, widely tipped to be the subject of the striker bid received by the Blues, could be involved against the Ridgeons League club in the testimonial for Seasiders' midfielder Paul Hillier.
