Full-backs Moritz Volz and David Wright are injury concerns ahead of Saturday's live Sky game against Crystal Palace at Portman Road (KO 5.20pm). Wright has a calf problem, while Volz has a tight hamstring.

Physio Matt Byard told the club site: "Wrighty reported a tweak in his calf when he did some light work on Wednesday morning.

"Moritz played against Wigan, but his hamstring tightened up after the game and we will have to see how he is on Friday.

"With the Palace match just around the corner, they both have to be considered a doubt at the moment."

With Ben Thatcher out for around six weeks the Blues would be very short of full-backs if both Volz and Wright are unavailable. Pim Balkestein would come in at left-back, while Alex Bruce would probably come in on the right.
