No Ban for Jim Thursday, 15th Nov 2007 13:38 Boss Jim Magilton has been fined but not banned from the touchline by the FA at today's disciplinary hearing. The Town manager was charged with using abusive and/or insulting words towards referee Colin Webster after the 2-2 draw at Burnley, a breach of FA rule E3. Magilton told the club site: "I had a fair hearing from the panel and I think they were sympathetic to the situation. "It wasn't a case of appealing over the charge, I wanted a personal hearing to present the facts surrounding it and I was given the opportunity to do that. "It was clearly a goal and would have given us three big points and given the players a big boost as well, but it's in the past now and we move on." Last season, the Town boss was given a two-match touchline ban and fined £500 for a similar offence after being sent to the stands by referee Mark Clattenburg at Preston North End.
