Two-goal Pablo Couñago has revealed the reason behind his celebration after scoring his first and Town's second during Saturday's 4-1 victory over Coventry City — he's going to be a father.

The Spaniard says he recently discovered that his girlfriend Lara is expecting a baby in March: "It was my first goal since I found out my girlfriend was pregnant two weeks ago. The boys have been taking the mickey in the dressing room but it was based on the Brazilian celebration in USA 94.

"That was great news and to score twice in such a fabulous win was simply fantastic."

The summer re-signing from Málaga is confident that Town will start to get similar results away from home: "We must not panic about it. We have played well for much of the time away without always getting the fortune.”
