Boss Jim Magilton says he is considering whether to give Shane Supple a recall for Saturday's home live Sky game with Coventry (KO 5.20pm). Current first choice Neil Alexander was singled out for criticism by the Town manager after the 4-0 defeat at West Brom at the weekend.

Magilton said: “Neil is a very, very good goalkeeper, but he had an indifferent game on Saturday. He is an experienced keeper and when a keeper has a bad day at the office it generally means a bad day for all of us.

“I know Shane Supple is more than ready to come in and play. We want that pressure on everyone so that if they have a couple of slip-ups someone is ready to take their place.”

Alexander's wife Joanne is still expecting the couple's second child with the Scottish international on standby to return home from Town's last two away games in case the baby made its appearance.

Left-back Dan Harding was also singled out as being at fault as the Blues crashed from 1-0 down to 4-0 in the final few minutes of the game at the Hawthorns.
