Boss Jim Magilton has confirmed that midfielder Sammy Moore's loan at Terry Butcher's Brentford will last a month. Butcher watched Moore in action during the Blues' 2-2 draw at Chelmsford last week.

Magilton told the club site: "The next stage for Sammy's development is to get him out playing games and a loan move would provide him with that opportunity.

"We have other young players here that I want to see play first team football as well, so hopefully we can arrange for two or three of them to go out on loan."

The likes of Chris Casement, Michael Synnott, Liam Trotter and Jordan Rhodes are amongst those who could also make short-term moves when the new season starts.
