Midfielder Sylvain Legwinski's recovery from his broken metatarsal is progressing well, but the Frenchman is expected to start pre-season training later than the rest of the squad. The 33-year-old, who swept the Town player of the year awards, picked up the injury during the 2-0 victory at Luton in March.

Physio Matt Byard told the club site: "Sylvain has seen a specialist and the fracture is healing well.

"He is deep water running in the swimming pool at the moment, which enables him to work the foot without putting it under any stress, and he will be swimming as well for the next three or four weeks.

"We are monitoring his progress daily and we are happy with the way things are going, but he's likely to start pre-season a little behind the other players."
