Boss Jim Magilton says on-loan midfielder Martin Brittain could return to the club when his spell at Yeovil is up in January. Brittain joined the Blues from Newcastle in the summer but so far has made only one sub appearance.

Magilton told the club site: "Martin has benefited greatly from going out on loan.

"He was getting a little dispirited because he wasn't getting first team games here so we had to get his confidence up and provide some more motivation for him.

"We let him go out on loan to play first team matches at Yeovil and he's had a good time there and their manager Russell Slade seems to like him.

"We'll see how it goes, but his loan is up at the start of January and there is a possibility that we will bring him back here to push for a first team place."
