Boss Jim Magilton says that he is still keen on securing Sunderland midfielder Tommy Miller's return to Portman Road. TWTD reported in June that Miller was on Magilton's summer wish-list, having also been a target of former manager Joe Royle.

Town are reported to have watched the 27-year-old in action for the Black Cats' reserves against Doncaster on Monday in which Miller scored.

Magilton says that a move could still occur: "Tommy is still a player who interests us. He is not in the first team at the moment and we will keep an eye on the situation. Something might still happen in January, if not sooner."

Miller's contract with the Wearsiders is up at the end of the season and the Blues could land the former Hartlepool man on a free transfer in January, perhaps preceded by a loan deal.
