Between 17/12 & 2/1 we lost at Wycombe, beat Oxford at home & drew away to Portsmouth & Lincoln.
Our style of play perhaps works against us when games follow in quick succession. This seasons games are against significantly better then those we played this time last year.
Last year things didn’t improve until mid February winning just 2 games out of 10. Important we get a result Monday and put a halt to any potential slide down the table.

It is interesting how some things appear to mirror last season. We hit patchy form just ahead of the transfer window. If we have a similar transfer window to last season, we are in for a very enjoyable season once again.
At the moment there appears to be less negativity attached to the poor results than there was last season. Perhaps that is partly due to a realisation of the higher level we are at now. However, I hope some have learnt from last season and trust that long term we are heading in the right direction regardless of whether the short term is good, bad or ugly. |  |
