Charlton 13:27 - Dec 3 with 841 viewscatch74

I imagine the last thing of note they’ve had to cheer was the 4-4 with us. Snuck through against the Paper mill only to lose to Gillingham in the next round - inspired by a fired up
Macauley Bonne - good to see him with I smile on his face.
Along with the extra time thriller there was the flashpoint after the dire match at the Valley, plus they nicked quite a few players when we went down from the prem. The Curbishley link too. Always been hovering around us - but feels like they’re getting a bit comfortable in League One now.

Charlton sht on Bonne and made him a scapegoat for the drubbing they had at Portman Road because he “liked” an Instagram post after the game, apparently that is far worse then the passengers on the pitch watching us annihilate them, only Bonne was trying for Charlton! He was also great with the fans, kids and the disabled that day pre match stopping for pictures and autographs and generally being a good ambassador for football.

Glad he got some measure of revenge for that. He was fantastic for Ipswich prior to his family tragedy, always gave 100% and will always be remembered fondly for his efforts during a poor season.
