One game at a time. We don’t look at the table until March time.

Poll: Right now, who would you rather have as Prime Minister?

We are staying up say we are staying up.

Sounds a bit ridiculous when we’re 2nd but we shouldn’t lose sight of how far we’ve come. 11th in L1 when the new owners bought Evans out and heading nowhere fast. To be as competitive as we are at this level is phenomenal and shouldn’t be taken for granted.

Next up Cov at home, let’s go get another W and see where it takes us. Leeds next 3 are Boro then Blackburn away and Sunderland away. Not easy by any stretch. Southampton themselves have a home game then 2 away including a tough trip to Watford.

I reckon we’ll be top 2 on Christmas Day, perhaps not an 7 point gap but who could’ve dreamed of that? Bloody fantastic, love it. Drink it in.

Honestly, I'd have bitten anyone's hand off to have 42 points by Christmas, never mind end of November.

The 42 point mark has always felt significant to me somehow, I think it may have been the old second-tier mark above which you were thought to be safe?

Where we are now just feels momentous - and Sky were spot on saying how entertaining & attractive we are to watch (usually!).
