I love football; the (hopefully) excitement, emotions, tribal behaviour that in more or less any other context would probably get you locked up, the buzz / high of wins, success

I hate football; shattered dreams, often turgid football, players that appear not to give a fug, spending my hard earned trying find that elusive buzz

I was at Highbury in 78 and Villa Park in 81, luckily the Clive Thomas debacle proceeds my supporting life.
That Weburley 2000 and 91/92 v 4 delegations, oh and OT 95 outweighs PR 79
Home wins against giants of European football, Barca twice

Tonight, a Tuesday night in the fine South Yorkshire town of Barnsley, is the next big night. Huge if a win, simply a prolonging otherwise.

I'm as excited today as I can recall walking toward PR as a 12 year old in May 1981 for the Alkmaar game, very different competitions, but still that spark.

Football eh?
