Wow, that was quick! 19:32 - Jan 1 with 1533 viewsringwoodblue

I see No Time to Die is on ITV tonight - that’s surprisingly quick as it normally takes about 5 years for a JB film to trickle down to Freeview channels.

I look forward to seeing if it’s an improvement on Spectre or as good as Casino Royale.

It’s been on TV previously and I don’t have Sky movies.

Oh ok that’s a shame. Is it as bad as Quantum then?

I liked it, but then I’m a big John Barry fan and liked the little nods to OHMSS, which gave clues as to where the film was going.

Shuddup.

I'm looking forward to it.

When? Has it. You sure?

Looking at the TV guide thing it doesn't say premier so guess you're right.

I'm not prepared so am going for the +1 instead.

8 O'Clock is a bit early for a Bond film.

If you do that, you'll miss Happy Valley on BBC1 at 9....

I have no idea if that's a joke or not I'm afraid!

I don't know what Happy Valley is.

Pretty sure it's the first time it's been on 'terrestrial' TV.

Prefer it to Spectre but Skyfall is still the best of the Craig era, for me.

It's definitely a step up from Spectre and Quantum, but not as good as Casino Royale (my fave Craig Bond) or Skyfall.

Last series of a great BBC drama, worth watching, but if you haven't seen it, best start from the beginning on iplayer

It is the first time it’s been on terrestrial. It’s been on Amazon for a while.
I saw it at the cinema. I suspect the “early” release to terrestrial has something to do with the fact that although it was only released in early 2022, it should have been out almost three years.

I’ve seen it previously and I’ve not been to the cinema since before covid, and as I said, I don’t have Sky movies. But googling it it says this is small screen premier so really not sure how I saw it before. Must have been one of my kids accessing some dodgy version!

I'd concur with this. Watched No Time to Die a while back when it came out on Amazon, was really excited to see it but never really got into it. Maybe it's one of those films that if you watch again and again on TV you get it.

Glad to see others thinking Skyfall was up there with Casino Royale.... I've had arguments around how good Skyfall is and still watch it whenever it's on.. Quantum seemed a bit rushed and too short to develop the story imho.
