Miss Vic is buying a house in Stow, on the Cedars development. The Landmark information search has come back with ‘Natural Ground Stability Hazard’ flagged up. There doesn’t seem to be any evidence of any subsidence in the property but as this refers to the area and ground on which it’s built we’ve been advised to get someone who understands these things to check it out or advise us further.
I don’t know any geotech engineers or even chartered engineers who are familiar with Stow so I’m just wondering if anyone on hear can help with recommendations - or has personal experience of this stuff in that specific area.
Used to ride my fizzy and crunch on the wasteland that is now Cedars and cant think of anything apart from there is a sewage works up there and the estate is built next to Minworth Metals factory.
