Hello Town fans.
Our charity arrange football-related experiences for disadvantaged children across the country, mainly by donating mascot or hospitality packages to them and their families. We have seen first hand how attending a football match and meeting their favourite players can give them a welcome period of respite during difficult times...not just to the child but to their families too. The impact of such a day can have all kinds of benefits on the recipients, helping with their confidence, communication skills with other children and adults as well as, of course, providing the family unit with wonderful memories of the exciting day.
We have an Ipswich Town mascot package and we are looking for someone aged between 6 - 15 years that we can donate it to. Do you know of a Town supporter that is currently going through a tough time, whether they have an illness or a disability, they are a young carer or have suffered a bereavement? Maybe they are the sibling of a poorly child and deserve a day all of their own where they can experience the thrill of being on the pitch with the Town players...whatever the reason, we are looking for nominations from you guys on who you would like us to pass this on to.
If you know of someone who fits the criteria above please drop us an email at enquiries@freekicksfoundation.org and tell us about them. Please get in touch by November 30th and we'll then ask our team of Trustees to choose one winner.
The mascot package is for the game against Peterborough United on 1st February 2020 and includes:
Four match tickets to the selected first-team fixture at Portman Road (one ticket must be used by mascot)
Full 2019/20 home kit
Mini tour of Portman Road stadium
Meet the players in the dressing room before the match
Pennant signed by all the players
Be pitchside at the team warm up
Photograph with favourite player which will be signed and posted
Photograph in the Club's Official matchday programme
Penalty shoot-out on the pitch (weather dependant)
Complimentary matchday programme
Complimentary parking for one car
Walk on to the Portman Road pitch with the first team for kick-off
Be part of the official handshake with the officials and opposition
Be announced and introduced on to the pitch

Absolutely fantastic charity which does amazing work. I know Steve, who is part of the set up, and the difference they've made to countless kids is awe inspiring.
