I’m a nutshell, no. I said it yesterday, I genuinely cannot believe just how bad the standard of this division is. I knew it was going to be worse than the Championship, that’s obvious, but certainly didn’t think it would be this bad.
The worrying thing for me is that when we get promoted and face any half decent Championship side (a Leeds, West Brom, Stoke), I can easily see them knocking 2 or 3 past us. |  |

4 out of 17 isn't good enough, it's ok when you're still getting results but we need to up our game. The formation/line up changing can't help. |  |

What constitutes 'a really convincing performance'?
If you mean cooly dominating another team and crushing them with little effort on our part, that isn't going to happen - not without some help from the other side suffering a collapse or being unusually weakened (e.g. Bolton). Every game is going to be a struggle, just as it is for clubs like Wycombe (who specialise in that) and Peterborough (who have some very good strikers, but are fragile at the back).
ITFC are not a Championship quality team in League One. We were relegated bottom and adrift, still undergoing a rebuild after the Hurst-based dissolution of McCarthy's side (which was, itself, rarely pretty or fluent). Our purchasing power is not so great that we can automatically overawe our divisional rivals. We are a bit sh1t and it's not surprising that winning the division is proving to be a tough struggle. |  |

No. Convincing 45 minutes but never a full 90. I remember us playing Stockport at home under Burley I think. We bashed them for 90 minutes and walked it. I was expecting at least a few of those by now. |  |
