I had no idea how difficult coping with autism could be until my boy became close friends with someone who’s brother is quite severly autistic and we got to know the parents. It’s relentless for the parents, so anything like this that brightens the day is worth its weight in gold. It really is.

My cousin is severely autistic. Think he's in his 30s now, lovely lad but I think he needs basically round the clock care.
I’m going to show this to my youngest sister. She isn’t Into football but she’s 10 years old, with autism and heading into her final year of primary school. She’s super intelligent but her attendance is poor as she can’t handle the social aspect and the sensory issues of being in a class of other people, which leads to her getting high levels of anxiety. It’s difficult for her because she’s sort of in the middle ground where she’s too able and intelligent for a special needs school but finds the other aspects of mainstream education difficult.

Yeah it’s a lot of work. I hadn’t appreciated how disruptive autism is. As you say, it can literally require round the clock care. Not that I know much about it at all.
Top stuff. Great to see. A credit to himself and the football club. I have little doubt that lambert encourages this. Suspect the club will rightly be well represented at the Children’s hospital ward this Christmas. Just like Alex Ferguson expected his players to support great community opportunities, Lambert will do to. The club is very much on its way back.

Without wishing to derail this, we haven’t ever gone away from it have we? Mings and MM were always attending. That’s one constant we’ve had. Well done all.

Sounds like another attempt to diminish our last few years and to inflate the current goings on to me.
