Bit like Duncan Forbes who played for them up the road in the 1960's and 1970's.
In the days when referees literally wrote the name or number in a book I reckoned with Forbes it would save time if they wrote his name in the book before the game and just crossed it out at the end if he had not been booked.

It's lovely to see you keeping alive old TWTD traditions such as not being being able to spell Owin Garvin's name properly.

Mate of mine from colleges dad was best friends with Garvans uncle. Apparently Garvan was the stupidest bloke you could ever meet in your life and couldn’t do even the most simplest of everyday life things (for example, he apparently was asked to post a letter once and didn’t have a clue what to do). Without football he would have been completely lost as would never have been able to get a normal job. Pretty scathing words from your own family!

Wonder what he does with himself now his career has fallen apart

My hobbies include being quiet during trips, clapping with songs, and diabetes.

‘Then to another guy he asked, ‘Do you want to be a footballer, or do you want to collect piss for a living like this guy?’

That is superb.

In all fairness, Jimmy Bullard had a valiant try at juggling being both being a footballer AND taking the piss whilst at ITFC.
