This is odd timing.

Pronouns: He/Him/His. "Imagine being a heterosexual white male in Britain at this moment. How bad is that. Everything you say is racist, everything you say is homophobic. The Woke community have really f****d this country."

I'm sure the revenues of league 1 will be very lucrative.

I heard he is doing this so he can run a series of events based on “How to make a Billion from relegating a tier 2 team, into tier 3”

So he is going to get a double hit of profits.

I also heard he plays with golf clubs that have been melted down from our trophies, and the ones on display are made from papier-mâché.

Can see both sides to the argument of Evans, lack of investment is evident. But else can be done, I think he’s a willing seller so if an offer comes in things may change.

For now we are where we are. He keeps the club going every year with crazy numbers, millions and millions, something very few could afford or be willing to do.

An element of gratitude has to be shown for that.

You mean apart from the £70m (allowing for the discount on his original debt purchase) he's lent the club with little chance of ever getting it back?

Good Lord! Whatever is it?

There is a double R in Eddie Spearritt. Still, It's better than calling yourself Finidi Gorge or John Wak I suppose.

Poll: If only these two were available who would you choose for the rest of the season

He also has the pies made from under-performing youth players.

The OP has chosen to go early but frankly the jury is out. Obviously the stuff about making a profit is rubbish but the next few weeks should show us how serious Evans is about taking us back up. I had hoped after noises coming out of the club that we would retain our Championship budget for the season and have a real go. We may well do that and will have to wait and see.

Truly impaired.

We can't do that. Even if we retained our Championship income levels, we would still be way adrift on the much tighter L1 FFP rules (despite the leeway given to newly-relegated teams). Thus leaving ourselves in line for points deductions the following season.

Even allowing for the big wage reductions and the income from sell on fees that should be cushioning the loss?
