Cobbling together another bunch of freebies and cast offs to stay out of the relegation zone, knowing that a fair number of those at home games no longer want him at our club.

I doubt whether this season's player budget will even be as much as what he had '16/17. I can't see there being any player who would attract a decent transfer fee to help the budget either.

If things were certain both him and Milne would have confirmed his staying by now. So what can be the reason for the delay ?
