Williams v Clarke 00:26 - Dec 16 with 702 viewswiltshireblue

it's the big day!'

Williams is a hell of a player, but I can't help but having a niggling fear about him getting sent off if he starts!. Probably irrational but the refs red card rate and the potential for Williams to get a bit overhyped against his old loan Club gives me a worry (he'll be getting a lot of stick about how he left etc too).

On that basis (and coming off early at Watford) Clarke swings it for me.

Whoever plays, they'll give it their best and I hope everyone (Town fans!) enjoys watching and we have something to celebrate

PS: You know what, to sort this for us I'll stick a bet on Williams getting a red card. It sure as hell won't then!

It'll be a big surprise if it isn't the team that won us promotion emerging from the tunnel at 12:25 tomorrow. It's Clarke's shirt at the moment.

Williams will come on at 82 mins to see out our 6-2 victory.

Interestingly enough our two most "potent" red cards are both right backs and their trickiest players are both left wingers. I would prefer Williams as I fear Clarke would back off too much from Sainz or Rowe whoever plays there for them and Williams is a better one on one defender.

Semper fidelis!
