Some perspective 20:29 - Aug 26 with 356 views

Middleborough lost 15 games last season and made the play offs.

Sunderland lost 13 games last season and made the play offs.

Blackburn lost 17 games last season and finished level on points with Sunderland.

My three takeaways from today though:

1. For the second week in a row, our defence has been bullied by a big strong striker who has strolled through, brushing our players aside.

2. Wes Burns needs to get his shots away far quicker in the Championship.

3. Good coaching and team spirit can get us competing wth team who were playing at the highest level last year.
