it is good to know we won't be adding to the squad with anyone just because we may have missed out on a couple (if we were ever in for them. ). One thing though.....it makes the Gassan Ahadme signing one of the strangest ever.

Ahadme was an odd one, but one done before the recruitment team was fully up and running I suppose.

Reading KMcK's comments it seems like we were in for a player(s) but it was felt that they might have been using us as a stepping stone, in the short-medium term, (potentially asking for reletively low release fee clauses).

Context around Ahadme was we really only had Ladapo, no Hirst or Broadhead at that point and didn't know the season Chaplin was going to have so another striker was needed so in hindsight Adadme seems a bit paniced but his stats must have been right and we has already scoring for Burton in L1.

I don't think we have that same situation now and McK will have learnt and will make sure its right for the Championship.
