Reminds me of my kid bro at a match in the early 90s. Final game of the season and there was a fair bit of angst amongst the crowd over the ownership.
Was front row of the North and a copper was on at my brother to sit down. Up and down he went, reminders and threats of arrest from the copper.
Being the peace maker I managed to keep my bro in his seat and avoid arrest for the heinous crime of standing up at a football match.
On the final whistle it was onto the pitch and my kid made it to the centre spot where he announces "This is a sit down protest"
First time in 90 mins he voluntarily sat down and the same copper hot on his toes arrests him 😂
Never got charged, released after a couple of hours, but he had to make his own way home.
