In the stands, 21k was a decent turnout, suspect Portman Rd will be bouncing if we get on a roll.
Outside, got to say I thought the club did well. I had maybe a 5 min queue so that our CV status's were checked, that was at 2.30. When I took my seat I worried some may miss kick off, but everyone seemed to be in their seats on time.

Enjoyable wasn't it.
Only disappointment today was the result and two lapses in concentration that cost 2 poor goals. I was enthused and encouraged by pretty much everything else and every single new signing showed glimpses of their ability and why they have been signed.
Anyone just seeing the score today will think it's poor, and yes the result is poor against Morecambe but the game was more enjoyable that much of the dross over the last 2 seasons. |  |

Impressed with Evans, finally a player to pick up the ball and dictate the game, and a great and solid combination with Harper. They going to dominate when they’ve settled in. Also liked the way we held our width and stretched and switched the play.
Quite a bit to do before the team is comfortable and settled with each other’s game, but I really enjoyed the game and our play today.
Let’s hope we get the defensive unit sorted because they did get bossed a bit today. |  | | |
