I think there must be something in it and we do seem way off in our valuation.
Odd really as we have paid that for Fraser, so not sure why we are holding out at half his value.

I'm not even sure if we need Crooks now. Fraser is arguably a better fit for Cook's number 10 than Crooks anyhow. If we can get Celina to play the left inside forward role and Burns on the right wing, we should be laughing.

He is coming across as a right douche in all honesty... if we do lose out to a championship club then fair enough.. not much we can do about that, if he wants to play championship football... Warne is clearly not wanting to lose him to a league 1 rival, but it remains to be seen whether this indeed championship interest or not. From what I can see online there are no rumours coming from any Championship side that their club have made an offer for him so I wouldn't take this at face value.

Quite, and this worries me slightly - our first choice XI is potentially looking amazing, but the squad is still a wee bit thin overall.

He’s coming across as a bit of a pathetic figure IMO, because this is really nothing to do with him anymore. The key players are now the Ipswich ownership/Ashton, the Rotherham ownership, and Crooks himself.
If Crooks wants to come here, and if he doesn’t get a better (ie Championship) offer, and if both ownerships agree a few, then he’ll come here. And if one or more of those things don’t happen then he won’t.
All Warne’s talk of not wanting to sell to a League One rival etc is just irrelevant rubbish from a bloke who’s been sidelined (and is presumably a bit narked about it). | | | |

He's a nice bloke from what I know of him but he does talk an awful lot. I can remember Mick pacing up and down outside the press room at Rotherham as PW's presser was dragging on and he wanted to get out on the road.
I wouldn't be at all surprised if the Championship 'interest' is rather less developed than suggested.
