Thinking aloud, if I was 70 and being told I couldnt go out for 12 weeks, and my grandkid has one, I'd be whizzing round the backroads on it, sticking two fingers up and coughing in the direction of any copper brsve enough to try and stop me:-)

MiddleAgeism is a funny thing and I thinking about it the other day.

When I see a 30-50 year old on a skateboard I instinctively think 'knob' yet if I were to see a pensioner I'd definitely smile. Not trying to justify my thinking, but why should it matter? Surely a middle aged guy skateboarding should also bring a smile? But it doesn't. And it should.
